Hi, I’m Adina!!
A little bit about me and my family: My husband and I live on a small homestead in North Texas, have 6 kids, a plethora of animals, and have been homeschooling for eleven years. We began our homesteading journey in May of 2019 and haven’t looked back. For the first half of our marriage we spent our time in the military moving from one place to another, and made many friends and memories along the way. When my husband retired, we began our quest for a different type of life. That’s when our journey for our homestead began.
About Me
I did not grow up on a farm or in the country, but grew up an only child in a military family, but surprisingly didn’t move too often. Most of my childhood was spent in North Carolina near the coast. Many summers were spent playing with friends at the beach and looking for sharks teeth. We lived on a military base, so I did not grow up with farm animals. Throughout my childhood, I hoped to one day live on a farm in the country with a bunch of farm animals. We have been homeschooling our children for the past 11 years. I love the flexibility and freedom that homeschooling provides. We have been blessed with a wonderful community of homeschool families who have helped us along the way.
